did i ever tell you that catheleen is one of my best friends? look, i’m kinda drunk, and she’s asleep, so let me just type a little bit. catheleen is soft, her arms are. she hugs me and her face fits on my shoulder. i’ve never heard her snore as loud as she is snoring right now. and i’ve had many sleepovers with her. good thing she doesn’t have class tomorrow, we can sleep in until FOREVER! she’s lost a lot of weight, because she was sad for a little bit. she’s not as sad anymore, i don’t think, and that is a good thing, so i look at her tiny eyelashes and smile. she is beautiful all the time. before and now and always.
I may not write as beautifully as you do, but I can tell you one thing: Rachael Smith will be my best friend forever. We can go days, weeks, and months without speaking to each other, but as soon as you put both of us in a car together playing some good Usher, the head bobbing, singing-at-the-top-of-our-lungs, and all the giggles come back from lost times. There’s never a dull moment with you. And that’s why I love you.
